About us

At Wagging Tail Ranch,  we seek to provide a

safe, playful, interactive atmosphere for pets, while also maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and a warm compassion for animals.

Wagging Tail Ranch is located in a quiet country setting on 8.5 acres. With lots of room to romp and explore here on the ranch, we are equipped with a fully enclosed playground outside.

While on the ranch, dogs are encouraged to run, play, and interact with each other if appropriate.

Owner/Caretakers Jim and Christa Guenther strive to uphold the high standards that Brad and Lisa have provided over the years.

Jim is retired from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and has also been involved with many local community groups over the years. Jim will now be managing the buildings and grounds full-time.

Christa has 15 years experience in animal welfare, founding and working with the Pepin County Humane Society. Christa has safely worked with hundreds of animals, including many who were sick or injured.

Greetings! We are Jim and Christa Guenther and as of October 15th, 2015, we are the owners of Wagging Tail Ranch. We are excited and honored to serve the community of guests that Brad and Lisa have established.

We have lived in the local area for many years, and have 5 grown children, 5 grandchildren, an older Coonhound named Gracie, and a black Lab named Bailey, and a Sheperd named Teddy.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know so that we can provide the best service possible.

We look forward to meeting you and your pet!
